Phil Mickelson Once Revealed His Top 5 Travel Destinations Which Includes a Golf Course

Everyone has got their reasons to travel. Some travel to experience different cultures, whereas some do it to make or reminisce memories. As a golfer, Phil Mickelson gets to travel to different places all the time. He had once shared his favorite places to travel. 

Other than his achievements on the course, he is widely popular for his close relationship with his family. Therefore, it was not a surprise to know that his favorite destination includes memories related to his family members, in one way or another.

“Yellowstone Club is one of my favorite places on earth,” said Lefty. He further explained that while he can enjoy skiing in winter, he and his family can enjoy some family time in winter at the Yellowstone Club. “It is my favorite place to go, relax and get away for a while,” he added

Since his daughters live near New York, Mickelson added The City as his second favorite destination. While family time in the city, eating food or taking a walk, is important for Mickelson, he also loves the place because of all the beautiful golf courses. “I really love being able to walk into a museum with my family or share some great food with them,” he said.

St. Kitts Island of West Indies is another one of his favorite places to travel. The 2021 PGA champion explained that he loved the place so much that he has designed a golf course with Tom Fazio there. 

The most meaningful destination for Phil Mickelson

“Amy and I were married here,” said Mickelson about Hawaii. Since the place means so much to him, Lefty has a special place for the state. 

His love for golf was highly visible when Mickelson named Pebble Beach as his final favorite destination. “For a golfer, Pebble Beach and the surrounding area is a must-visit,” said Lefty. Moreover, he added that the place has a special place in his heart since his grandfather has worked as one of the first caddies at the Pebble Beach golf course.
