Big names like Nike, NetJets, Rolex, and TaylorMade sponsor Scottie Scheffler, and why wouldn’t they? Scottie has been the world’s best golfer for quite some time now. Now, one more name is added to Scottie’s sponsor list: Turtlebox Audio. The brand announced him as their newest brand ambassador, dropping several pictures on Instagram with a heartfelt message.

“Welcome to the family, @scottie.scheffler. We’re pumped to announce our new ambassador! On the course, he’s the best golfer in the world. But off the course, he’s all about family, faith, country music, and perfecting his latte art. Meet the golf superstar and our newest friend, Scottie.”
The post features a happy Scottie, wearing a grey Nike shirt and white pants, casually swinging his clubs on a green. In one picture, he’s holding up their Original (Gen 3) flagship speaker, which is priced at $430 on their official website. In the others, he is walking around with Turtleneck Audio’s orange colored Ranger, priced at $250.

While these are above-mid-range speakers, Scheffler joining hands with this company was unexpected. Turtlebox Audio is heavily associated with country music, and everyone knows Scheffler’s love for the genre.
“Music has always been a big part of my life, especially practicing and training as much as I do,” he said in a statement released by Turtlebox to GolfMagic. “I’m incredibly particular about the brands I work with, and only work with companies I believe in and use regularly. Working with Turtlebox was a natural fit—I love what their brand stands for, and love their products.”

Based in Houston, Turtlebox has carved a name for itself as a leading manufacturer of premium, portable outdoor speakers. As per them, they are designed to survive mud, rain, and the occasional golf cart bump. The Ranger is its newest product, and has quickly become popular due to its small size, but powerful sound. It has a magnet mount that can easily make it cling to a golf cart. Unsurprisingly, Scheffler calls it his “go-to speaker.”
And that made the partnership easy. But there was also a very Texan coincidence, which brought them together. Scheffler first connected with Turtlebox representatives at a fundraising event in Nashville hosted by country music star Thomas Rhett.
“We quickly found common ground with Scottie,” said Sloane Brown, Turtlebox’s Director of Community Marketing. “From our shared Texas roots to his love of country music, we knew he was our kind of guy.”

Still, for the fans, this collaboration was as shocking as it comes. Let’s look at some of their reactions.

Fans find Scottie Scheffler’s Turtlebox deal ‘huge’
In just a span of 7 hours, the post has received 12k+ likes. Turtlebox Audio boasts a massive following of 219k, and Scottie Scheffler, well, it’s 1.7M. So these likes are bound to go up as time goes by. At the same time, the comment box has been blasted with fans expressing their shock, love, and enthusiasm, all at the same time. For some, it was “sick,” for others, it was “huge.”
“Complete win for Turtlebox,” wrote one person.
For Turtlebox, the timing could not be better. Scheffler is sitting one major away from completing his career grand slam. And this brand, meanwhile, has recently jumped 125 spots to rank 84th on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America.
“Big time 👏” said another.
“As a company, I bet everyone was stoked to get this sponsorship. Dope,” said another. Well, anyone would be “stoked” if the world’s best golfer decides to come aboard with their company. It’s not every day that you get a Scottie Scheffler as your brand ambassador.
On the same note, another comment said: “Thought this photo was AI.”
“HUGE. Everything about this one makes so much sense ❤️,” typed one. Scheffler is an “all music” guy, by the way. He has an extensive playlist available on Spotify, which you can check out. It’s filled with diverse genres, giving you a peek into the taste of the four-time major champ.
“I’ve always had a soft spot for country music,” Scheffler said on this deal. “Flatland Cavalry’s one of my favorites right now. I’m also a big classic rock guy—Talking Heads, Creedence, The Eagles… I’m a sucker for the classics.”
Keeping that country sentiment, another user pointed out, “Some of the best products to ever come out of Texas!”
Well, this is not the only country or Texan thing that Scheffler loves to connect with. Everyone knows his life for the Dallas Stars (NHL) and the Texas Rangers (MLB). He even claimed that he’s ready to trade one of his Majors for a Dallas Cowboys’ Super Bowl win.
Yet, Turtlebox Audio would have had to spend a great money to get Scheffler aboard. “How big a check did you cut him? Can’t imagine it was cheap,” said one fan.
Annually, the golfer’s revenue easily reaches $20-$30 million with all his collective endorsements. In 2024, specifically, it stood at $ 30 million. And now, he’s even on the verge of matching Tiger Woods‘ career earnings, reaching a whopping $99 million.
All in all, a world-class golfer and a booming Texas-born audio brand. This is a partnership that feels both unexpected and inevitable.
