Bryson DeChambeau is more of a scientist than a traditional golfer on the field. The golf ‘hulk’ has worked very hard to build bulks of muscle. And not only has it enhanced his looks, but also made him one of the longest hitters on any given golf course.

Although DeChambeau has always considered Tiger Woods as an inspiration, his professional debut was much better than the golf legend himself.

Bryson DeChambeau had a better pro debut than Tiger Woods

DeChambeau is one of the few players who work more on technique than other skills. He has gradually made his long shots better than most golfers on the field. But his debut as a professional golfer was unexpectedly better than most players.

According to the records, DeChambeau finished T-4 at the RBC Heritage at the beginning of his PGA Tour career. Not only that, but he also made $259,600 in the event. And if we compare this score with big golfers such as Woods, it seems to be a great score, to begin with. If we talk about Woods’ debut, he finished T-60 at the Greater Milwaukee Open when he was just 20 years old.

Other big names like Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, and Jordan Spieth also couldn’t make a better start than DeChambeau. At the 2007 British Masters, McIlroy finished T-42. On the other hand, Day finished T-67 at the John Deere Classic in 2006.

Further, Spieth couldn’t make the cut at the 2013 Farmers Insurance Open. However, some might say that all these payers were younger than DeChambeau at the time of their pro debuts. But that doesn’t change the fact that DeChambeau came into professional golf with a complete blast.
