Justin Rose and his wife make a massive announcement regarding women’s golf

Justin Rose recently tweeted and revealed that he is going to start a new tournament in the LET Access Series. Meanwhile, the LET Access Series is a development tour for the Ladies European Tour that assists female golfers in competing and progressing on the LET.

The Roses have decided to start a new tournament, the Rose Ladies Open, as a part of the LET Access Series. Justin Rose released a statement along with the tweet and revealed his intention to start this new tournament.

“We want to give female professionals more opportunities to play competitively. Provide them the chance to compete for large prize funds. Provide opportunities to be seen and receive the exposure they deserve. So that we can continue to work towards change and the drive for equality and help provide the pathway to the Ladies European Tour,” revealed the English golfer.  

Meanwhile, the Ladies Rose Open will be a 54-hole event. The Brocket Hall Golf Club will host this event this year from September 23-25. Moreover, Justin Rose is trying his best to provide opportunities for women golfers in Europe. He had already started the Rose Ladies Series on the LET Access Series in 2020.

Why did Justin Rose start the Rose Ladies Series?

During the pandemic in 2020, women’s golf, especially in Europe, took an enormous blow. Hence, to provide women golfers with an opportunity, the Rose couple started the Rose Ladies Series in 2020. This series was a massive success as it assisted plenty of women golfers in Europe to keep playing professional golf.

Therefore, with a similar vision, Justin Rose and his wife have started the Rose Ladies Open with a significant prize money purse. So this is positive news for women’s golf, and we salute the Rose couple for the things they have been doing for women’s golf.
