Collin Morikawa has publicly expressed his support for Hawaii with his recent Instagram post as it confronts devastating wildfires. This support stems from a personal connection: he fondly recalled his grandfather’s Morikawa Restaurant situated in Maui’s Lahaina, a region now deeply affected by the fires.

In a significant gesture of solidarity, Collin Morikawa has pledged on social media to donate $1000 for every birdie he achieves during the course of the 2023 Fedex Cup playoffs, with the intent of assisting the struggling Hawaiian communities.

When he asked if she wanted the ball, she initially declined but then she quickly changed her mind and received the ball from the player.
