Spanish tennis superstar Rafael Nadal will go down in history as the most dominant player to have played on a clay court. The success achieved by the 34-year-old player is unmatched. He has won the French Open thirteen times in his career so far. Besides Roland Garros, he has won multiple titles on the clay courts of Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, and Rome Masters.
Recently, Rafael Nadal was praised by the rising Russian star Andrey Rublev. The 23-year-old player was inspired by the Spaniard’s ability to fight till the end in his matches over the years. He also felt that the youngsters on Tour should seek inspiration from Rafa to try to win a title at Roland Garros.

The 2020 French Open quarterfinalist stated, “He is someone who will always fight to the end, no matter what. He could die on the court but he would continue to play. Nadal has won 13 French Open titles. It should motivate us all to try to win it at least once.”
The Russian recently reached the quarterfinal of the Australian Open. In doing so, he has reached the quarterfinals of the last three Grand Slam events, which indicates his level of consistency. Andrey won the Rotterdam Open last week and continues to shine. In the previous season, he won five titles on the ATP Tour.
