Recently, the famous sports media company ‘Playmaker HQ’ released its list of the top 10 NBA players of all time. The list seems to be getting a lot of disapproval and hate from NBA buffs. The reason being, there was no mention of the 5x NBA Champion and the Lakers legend late Kobe Bryant in the list. Even with the ‘King’ LeBron James topping the list, the fans seem to be unsatisfied.

The ‘Big Diesel’ Shaquille O’Neal called out the disrespect on his teammate in his Instagram post, joining the fans. Shaq mentioned under the caption, “Y’all agree with this, I don’t. They missing main man KOBE”

Fans agree with Shaquille

People loved the fact that Shaq called out the disrespect on Kobe. In addition, fans mentioned, “This is unacceptable, where 24.” and “Any list without Kobe is invalid” agreeing with Big Diesel. Along with Shaq, former NBA player Nate Robinson commented “MJ #1 and Kobe #3” denying the top spot for LeBron.

The list is found to be very inaccurate by the fans. The great NBA legends Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlin, and Larry Bird have seemed to be pushed down the list. There seems to be a total denial of the Warriors star Stephen Curry making it to the top 5 of the list. The NBA world believes MJ, Kobe, and LeBron must be the top 3. In addition, they wanted Spurs HOF Timmy D and the Greek Freak on the list. With only ten spots available, there seems to be a lot of competition and disagreements among the fans.

Shaq and Kobe

Shaq and Kobe have been a deadly duo on the court with 4 NBA championships for the Los Angeles Lakers. Even though both of them have had their riffs and fights on and off the court, Shaq has always been Kobe’s backbone. A few years ago, Shaq went off on former NBA player Ryan Hollins for choosing LeBron over Kobe and MJ.

Shaq questioned the latter “What about Michael and Kobe? You are just gonna pass Kobe up like that?”. Shaq added ” Would you mind me if I walked out of the show?” when Hollins started to justify why LeBron is better. Shaq, just like the fans, does not tolerate disrespect to his teammate Kobe.
