Without a doubt, Daniel Ricciardo is one of the easiest drivers to get along with. The Australian is hardly ever seen without his trademark smile, except when he is out of a race. As it turns out, Lewis Hamilton is pretty good friends with the 29-year old. Recently, Hamilton posted a picture on Twitter and Instagram, of the two together.

The caption was in reference to a comment by a child who was unable to pronounce Ricciardo’s name properly. Instead, it came out as Daniel Avocado, which the Australian driver absolutely loved.

Ahead of the opening race in Australia, he took some time away from his schedule to meet the child. For the child, it was undoubtedly a surreal experience, meeting his idol.
