Aaron Judge’s Historic Quest Irritates College Football Fans as New York Yankees Games Make Unlikely TV Appearances

Aaron Judge is wreaking havoc in Major League Baseball this season. With 60 home runs already smashed from the plate, the Yankees fans are desperate to watch Judge hit the record-breaking 61st and 62nd home runs of the season.
Notably, Judge breaking the single-season home-run record in the American League is nothing but a celebration for the Yankees fans. And since he is just one big hit away from the historical record, broadcasters are not missing any chance to miss Judge’s at-bat. However, football fans might find this irritating.

Earlier on Saturday, ESPN was broadcasting a college football game. But all of a sudden, in the middle of the game, ESPN started showing Judge’s at-bats. And they did not take it lightly. Football fans criticized ESPN for the same.
ESPN triggered football fans when they cut the football game to show Aaron Judge at-bats v/s the Red Sox
Notably, if someone is watching a different sport and suddenly, the broadcaster starts showing something they might not be interested in, they can get frustrated. And the same happened on Saturday when ESPN started broadcasting Judge’s at-bats from the Yankees v/s Red Sox game after cutting the football game.

Taking to Twitter, football fans showed their anger toward the broadcaster. And a few of them also took a dig at the game of baseball and the Yankees star Aaron Judge.

One fan even questioned the broadcaster for indirectly valuing the Yankees more compared to other MLB teams. They were so angry that they even wished that Aaron Judge will never hit the 61st home run this season.

Currently, Judge is on the verge of writing his name in the record book. If he manages to hit just two home runs this season, he will have the single-season AL home-run record in his name.
