The baseball legend, Derek Jeter, may have gotten retired from the game, but baseball is still in him. He has left a legacy in the New York Yankees. That at one time seemed pretty difficult for the players to fulfill.

But after looking at the players like Aaron Judge, it does not look like that difficult. Considering that Judge has already hit 55 home runs this season and is on the pace to hit about ten more.

Therefore, there are speculations in the media that ‘All Rise’ Aaron Judge, might become the Yankees’ next captain. The legend Derek Jeter got honored last night at the Yankee Stadium and also got asked about his opinions on Judge becoming the next captain.

Was Derek Jeter jealous about Judge’s possibility of becoming the next captain?

For the shortstop, jealousy might not even be in his dictionary. While talking about Judge, there was not a single hint of jealousy but pride for him. And his career was clearly visible on his face.

Jeter’s opinion on Aaron Judge becoming the next captain, “I’ve got to know Aaron a little bit over the last few months maybe. I don’t know him well, and I think to be fair to answer that question, I think you would find the answer to that question by talking to his teammates.”

The Captain is pretty impressed with Aaron Judge as an individual. “I’ve watched him from afar, and he’s a very impressive individual. Just talking to him is impressive, and I think to get a fair assessment is by just talking to his teammates, so I think that probably answered your questions,” Jeter said.
