The game against the Royals was a nail-biting one. We were witnessing history getting made by the outfielder Aaron Judge. At first, Judge hit his 40th home run and matched the record of icon Roger Maris. Then, he hit another home run and moved past the icon to the same record as the power-hitting outfielder Babe Ruth with 41 home runs.

Like I’ve said a thousand times, I’m focused on winning baseball games right now,” Judge said. “The stats and stuff like that, we can talk about that at the end of the year.” Notably, the slugger is on the pace to hit 66 home runs this season, which will break the record of 61 home runs by Roger Maris in the 1961 season. Judge prefers to not discuss this, and the Yankees’ manager finds it ‘hard to process‘.

He says, “Whatever it is, nobody is better equipped to go through it and handle it than him. I just want him to keep playing well and keep leading this team.” Every fan of Judge’s wants to see him on the top with the legends Babe Ruth and Roger Maris.

Is Judge up for trade?

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the Yankees landed Andrew Benintendi as an outfielder on their team. And, for Benintendi, they traded right-handers Chandler Champlain and Beck Way and left-hander T.J. Sikkema.
