Aaron Judge is well aware of the unpredictable nature of baseball. Matters can travel up and down for any team within the span of a few games or innings. Somewhat similar is the situation now for the American League rank toppers, New York Yankees.
Aaron Judge is a superstar slugger and outfielder for the New York Yankees. A modern-day baseball icon, Judge is popular for his ability to smash home runs at will. He leads the list for total home runs in the ongoing season with 46 homers until now. Judge is a four-time All-Star player.

Riding on Judge’s golden batting form, the Yankees are enjoying a grand journey this year. The Yankees look well set for a potential World Series victory. Though that is still a long way to sail, the Yankees still look on course to at least end up as the American League champions. However, the most recent performances narrate a different story altogether.
Aaron Judge unfazed by his team’s recent struggles
Aaron Judge is a player who is presently stacking up one record after another and rewriting baseball history. He has all the makings of a legendary player. Already counted among the likes of Babe Ruth, Judge is now challenging Roger Maris’ American League home run record.
But such extraordinary success doesn’t come to anyone at the flick of a switch. As much as physical prowess, mental strength too is an equal necessity. Which is something that Judge has got to an incredible level. So he displayed his positive mindset yet again while addressing his team’s recent failures.

Talking to the reporters at ‘Yes Network’ about the Yankees’ inconsistency, Judge said, “It’s baseball, you’re gonna go through stretches like this. Every team does, so it’s just about us staying consistent. You know, I don’t sit on our woes, sit overthinking our head. You know, we’re not happy about it, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. Still a lot of things to keep improving on, and keep working on.”

Judge further added saying, “So, now it’s time to move on to the next game. We got a big series coming up with Tampa coming into town. It’s time to move on.” Notably, the Yankees faced defeat against the arch-rivals Boston Red Sox in their latest game, going on to lose the series as well.
Slump in the Yankees’ recent form
Irrespective of Judge’s motivational statements, the Yankees’ recent dip in form is a crystal clear image. Since the midway break, the Yankees have not been a dominant force. The Yankees are still atop the American League East chart with a 72-43 win-loss record. But losing eight out of the last ten concluded games, does paint a worrying image for the Yankees.
