Shohei Ohtani’s Mysterious Win After A Record-Breaking Feat

Let’s rewind by one degree. On Thursday, the unicorn, who won the American League title on Thursday, became the 2X ‘unanimous’ Most Valuable Player after mesmerizing the MLB world. Ohtani did not say anything during the scheduled media call, even though he made an appearance with a dog on his lap during the televised Major League Baseball Network announcement. There was much conjecture that this GOAT would sign the first-ever $500 million contract in baseball history. This was prior to his injury sustained while playing for the Los Angeles Angels. It required surgery on his right elbow on September 19. Ohtani underwent Tommy John surgery in October 2018, however following the most recent procedure, his agent, Nez Balelo, did not provide all the details of the surgery. While that could possibility be the reason he was not there to collect his award, one can’t help but celebrate the victory.
