Joe Rogan is one of UFC’s most iconic commentators. He has been a part of the sport since its infancy and has remained a part of it despite his own individual success outside it. Rogan runs what can be considered the most popular podcast in the world with the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’.
Along with that, Rogan also has a budding comedy career and other interests. But the UFC is something he still has a close relationship with. UFC 261 is the promotion’s return to having fans in the stands. While they had limited fans at UFC 258 in Abu Dhabi, the VyStar Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida is sold out for the event. But for people watching safely from home, Joe Rogan will be calling the action for you. He will be joined in the commentary booth with modern mainstays like Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik.
Joe Rogan: Still one of the best commentators in MMA
Joe Rogan is one of the smartest men in the world when it comes to MMA. He has a special MMA Show that he runs on his podcast, which features some of the biggest names from the fight world on it. Rogan is a fan of MMA before anything else, so he will always be associated with the sport as long as he can control it.
However, Rogan has reduced his commentator workload by a lot recently. He now does roughly 10 PPVs a year, with him being absent from any international PPV. We saw this last year as well, as Rogan never flew out for any of the Fight Island cards.
