It is not very often that the NASCAR world gets to see the goofy and funny side of two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch. Though this year has been quite different in that regard and fans are certainly getting to witness the not-so-grumpy side of Rowdy. He recently had a hilarious response while talking about his pre-race meal. 

There could be several reasons that have brought about this side of Rowdy. It may be his satisfaction from his recent record-breaking victory at Fontana or his active engagement on social media along with his wife Samantha. Whatever it may be, his fans are just thrilled to see him smile more often and have some fun.

Kyle Busch doesn’t eat a salmon before a race

Kyle Busch recently appeared on sets of The Residency Podcast. The Richard Childress Racing star shed some light on the diet he recommends before a race. In a YouTube Shorts video, he was seen comically explaining the do’s and don’ts of eating before a race to the hosts. He said he definitely would not eat salmon or rice beans before a race. The hosts agreed with him as he said that eating salmon would make his breath stink during the race. 

The hosts went on to hilariously explain that the driver would sweat a lot and it would smell bad, especially in the helmet. Rowdy agreeing with them said, “Like breathing and smelling that salmon, like right on you!” He said that he typically eats something filling like pasta carbs.

Most NASCAR fans are all heart for Samantha usually, but not so much for Rowdy given his on-track image. But as the years pass by, one tends to become more graceful and mature, just like fine wine. In Rowdy’s case, the credit certainly goes to his all-rounder wife for revealing this side of Rowdy to his fans.

Lately, Rowdy has featured in some hilarious videos Samantha has shared on Instagram, leaving fans in splits. Samantha looks pretty as always, and Rowdy is definitely trying to keep up with his wife in the videos. Fans have enjoyed seeing the couple having fun. It seems that fans are all in to see this side of Rowdy which is the complete opposite of what he is when at work.
