Bubba Wallace’s Right-Hand Man Slams NASCAR For Hiring Guy Who Made a “Super Awkward” Kyle Busch Joke

Just ahead of last weekend’s Clash at the Coliseum, the driver intros wore thin on many of the spectators. Usually, the person introducing the drivers is supposed to hype up the crowds. However, as Fox’s Animal Control host, Joel McHale, took to the stage, his jokes landed on deaf ears for most.

Later on, during this season’s first Door Bumper Clear podcast, Bubba Wallace‘s right-hand man, Freddie Kraft, slammed the comedian and his “super awkward” Kyle Busch joke. Kraft also went on to criticize NASCAR for hiring someone who had no knowledge of the sport whatsoever.

During the podcast, Kraft mentioned, “It was super awkward… I’ll just get into it now whoever thought that it was a good idea to hire that comedian to do driver intros, who didn’t know anything about the sport. Let’s never do that again or at least try to find somebody that’s funny if we’re gonna get a comedian.”

He added, “I only heard about three intros and they were just stupid. His jokes are my life and the guy didn’t know what he was talking about. So he was, he said Kyle Busch has the most wins in the history of the sport. I don’t know if that was a joke or if he just didn’t know what he was talking about.”

Kyle Busch, who was starting this year in his new team, on a clean slate, ended up finishing the race in third place. However, not all was smooth sailing for the two-time Cup Series champion. Mid-race, Rowdy was spun around by another two-time champion, Joey Logano. Despite his recovery driver after that incident, Busch was pretty sour about the incident.

Both Busch and Logano have a contentious history. During the latest race on Sunday, Logano hit the brakes. Although, it seemed as though he had encountered a problem, veering off course and making contact with Busch, who was driving alongside Austin Dillon in the outside lane. After the crash, Busch has expressed that retaliation is imminent, not just for this latest incident but for their experiences as well.

Having an all-out feud spread out even before the start of the season is definitely exciting. Fans are surely awaiting what would happen next. However, one thing is certain: whenever we see these two on the track again, things can get heated for sure. That certainly would be a spectacle to witness.
