When asked during the interview, “Martin Truex Jr. was just in here and told us he had resigned to stay at Joe Gibbs Racing and just talk a little about his veteran presence with the club. And you know what it’s like to have somebody of his caliber under the JGR route.”

“Yeah, I mean just having Denny and Martin both of them there adds so much to our organization because they’ve been around the sport for so long that their feedback is invaluable. And you know myself, I’m still young in the sport and obviously – Ty Gibbs is in his rookie year. So having veteran leadership, that kind of steers the ship and says, you know, ‘Hey, we need to go down this path,’ (that) is very important and I’m grateful to have him around for a little bit longer,” Bell stated.
