Hard racing and the 2-time champion, Kyle Busch, have a love-or-hate relationship, to say the least. Especially when everything fades into oblivion at triple-digit speeds and you try to risk it all to win and make it big, Sadly enough, Busch’s make-it-or-break-it strategy did not work at Michigan; instead, the driver got burned after an early, decisive move that ultimately ended his day.

With NASCAR coming out with its Radioactive segment, revealing the in-car conversations between drivers and their teams, NASCAR nation saw the “Rowdy” plotting the unthinkable mere moments after his team relayed the obvious.

Kyle Busch ups the ante with his in-car message to his team following his early stint with Blaney

Now for the unknown: “Drivers are like elephants” is a quote by Kyle Busch himself from months ago when the champion mentioned how he got back his vengeance years later. Known for his brash and unapologetic self and the never-say-die attitude he brings to the track, the two-time Cup Series champion is certainly one of the best racers NASCAR has produced.

Unlike his bleak 2022 season with Joe Gibbs Racing with just 1 win, this season so far has been great for Busch, who shifted base from Toyota to Chevy at Richard Childress Racing, replacing Tyler Reddick. With that being said, all is not well for Rowdy, as his last race at Michigan just earned him an awful bottom-last finish, wrecking first in Stage 1.

Trying to emulate what he did at the high-speed Talladega Speedway, Busch put on a menacing face as the #8 Chevy risked it all to gain an advantageous position, battling it out with Ryan Blaney for the 11th spot. Going side by side into turn 1, Busch risked it all when he went for it on the inside, hoping the No. 12 Ford would budge to his pressure. Sadly for Busch, getting on the inside meant getting bad air, which eventually got him backward as he and his Chevy went for a spin into the wall.

While the car retired again and was drivable, it was in no way out of trouble. The damage was too much, as the team deemed it out of contention, ending the bad boy’s day in a flash, drowning KB fans in sorrow. Now coming to the talking point, Busch issued a startling statement as he went for the wall, saying, “It’s f**king done, I’m telling you.” Now whether the “Rowdy” was eyeing another vengeful saga is not yet clear, as we will have to wait for the Indy road race to unfold, but Busch certainly has something on his mind.

Upon impact, the driver and his team knew there was no turning back as his crew chief, Derek Kneeland, said on the radio, “All right guys. We’re in it here.”

Sunday’s incident might seem pretty harmless to many, but for Kyle Busch, it’s not so. Ryan Blaney, who got out of the turn with just dents on the #12 Ford, had a pretty decent finish compared to Kyle Busch, who finished dead last at 37th. While Busch has acknowledged his wrongdoing by being hasty and trying to go for the kill at an early stage, Busch, being the “Rowdy” he is, doesn’t hesitate to take a jab at Blaney.

Minutes after his disappointing finish, Kyle Busch said, “They all run hard, they all want a race to crash and you know I tried to make a move and in the old days guys that you are racing they’ll let you go and have that spot and work for it later but this day and age is completely different, so I got a guy who ran on my outside and took the air off.”

While Busch was busy putting the blame on the Team Penske driver, Blaney, on the other hand, had another tussle with a Chevy. This time it was Busch’s “Pain in the D**k” driver, Corey LaJoie, who pushed the Ford deep into the junk.
