“Two Wins This Year” – Bubba Wallace Reveals Specific Goals For NASCAR Debut With 23XI Racing

Since the time Bubba Wallace signed a new deal with Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin’s 23XI Racing, there has been one big constant in his approach to the 2021 season – that of being a ‘household name on the racetrack’.
The best way for him to do that is to win races and constantly finish among the top contenders. In tune with that, Wallace recently revealed a very specific goal he has set for himself.
Still chasing his maiden NASCAR Cup Series win, Wallace wants to not just break the jinx but wants to win at least two races all year. Winning a race will also put him in the playoffs, which is his main goal for the season.

“I have written down in a text message two wins this year. That’s solid. That’s doable,” Wallace said during an interview.
Why Bubba Wallace is confident of achieving his set goals
Wallace is quite happy with everything 23XI Racing has so far, including the partnerships with Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota. The 27-year-old admitted there is nothing that suggests he and the team cannot achieve their goals for the debut season.
“Looking at this year and moving forward with what we have, with Toyota, with the partnership with (Joe Gibbs Racing) and just with everything going on at 23XI Racing, there’s no reason why we can’t go out and be good and compete for wins and put ourselves in the playoffs this year,” Wallace expressed.
That also led to Wallace setting the motto of ‘no excuses’ in the new chapter with Jordan and Hamlin‘s team. He is ready to make the most of everything the team has at their disposal and achieve those goals.

Wallace knows that there are a lot of eyes on him and the team. More than anything, Wallace would want to live up to the expectations set by none other than Jordan, and Wallace has opened up in detail about that of late.
