Brandon Ingram made NBA history while dominating the Toronto Raptors, leading the New Orleans Pelicans to a commanding 138-100 victory. Ingram recorded an impressive stat line of 41 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds. In contrast, none of the Raptors’ starters reached the 20-point mark. Ingram’s efficiency was remarkable, shooting 76% from the field (16/21) and 72% from beyond the arc (8/11). However, it was not the most extraordinary aspect of the night.
As the final buzzer sounded, Ingram became the first NBA player to score 40 or more points with nine assists in under 30 minutes. He played for precisely 29 minutes and 58 seconds, achieving his career-high without committing a single turnover.
