The Milwaukee Bucks had one of their greatest seasons last year. The team finished with the best team record in the Eastern Conference heading into the playoffs. Unfortunately, the Bucks were absolutely torpedoed in the first round at the hands of the Miami Heat. Which in turn led to the viral Giannis Antetokounmpo interview.

Numerous players and analysts both agreed and disagreed with his stance. But The Greek Freak certainly does not have to worry about his All-Star teammate, Khris Middleton having his back with his stance.

Recently, Antetokounmpo’s All-Star teammate Khris Middleton made an appearance on JJ Redick’s Old Man And The Three podcast. That is where he gave his views on whether he agreed with Giannis’ take or not.

Middleton said, “I don’t remember exactly what Giannis said but I kind of remember the gist of it. You know, I agree. That’s his perspective, that’s how he thinks of it. As far as my career, I think, I look it’s fair is when you just don’t try.”

“I think you can’t only look at success as if you win. I mean, that’s everybody. So, everybody expects to win or wants to win but everybody is not going to win. Especially, every year, every game, every night, whatever. So, my thing is if you’re not trying, you’re failing. You’re not even giving yourself a chance.”
