James Harden has had a lot of questions raised about him and his career over the years. In the past few months however, these questions have skyrocketed. After his decision to opt out of his player option with the Sixers and request a trade, The Beard has been the centre of attraction for the media. However, Harden seems to be unbothered by the attention as always.

SportsCenter put up this video on their Instagram and captioned it “Who was Harden grabbing burgers for?“. The media house openly questioned his food choices with this statement. However, Harden did not stay silent after this call-out.

Taking to their Instagram post’s comments, Harden commented “Slow news week?” slamming SportsCenter’s choice of news coverage rooted in his past.

The Beard had an interesting moment in the past

James Harden has played for a total of 4 teams in the league thus far. Despite having a decorated career in the NBA, Harden has never been able to win a championship. His quest for a championship led him to make several major decisions, ditching loyalty. One such move was when he requested a trade out of the Houston Rockets.

During his move out of the Rockets, an image surfaced in social media where Harden seemed to have put on a lot of weight. This sudden weight gain of the former MVP has become a running joke on social media every time he has requested a trade. This was probably why SportsCenter decided to post a video, calling out his food choices. However, Harden had to step in to silence the questions being raised.

Despite Harden’s response to SportsCenter’s post, the question regarding where Harden would take his talents to this season still remains. With his trade request out of Philadelphia, he has been linked to several teams including the Los Angeles Clippers as his next destination. However, nothing has been made official yet.
