Nobody is safe from the NBA’s 3-point leader Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors superstar has been an unstoppable force this month, setting impressive records game after game this season. In his last win against the Charlotte Hornets, Curry passed Elgin Baylor in an impressive all-time list to secure the 33rd position. Well, in no time, he has raised the bar once again. This time, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade and another famous Utah Jazz icon fell prey to it.

The Warriors proudly announced, Stephen Curry has passed Dwyane Wade for 32nd most points in NBA history after he drilled a few threes in his game against the Denver Nuggets. Dwyane Wade finished his impeccable career with 23,165 points. Most of it was for the Heat nation. Just a few minutes after this tweet went viral, Curry made history again by passing Adrian Dantley, who secured 23,177 points for the Utah Jazz. The Warriors point guard is now at the 31st position and next in line is Robert Parish.

Curry passed Lakers legend Elgin Baylor, who had 23,149 points, in his last game against the Hornets. This time he passed two legends in a single game and we might have to wait a few more games for the next record. And while all these historic moments have put a smile on the Dub Nation, closing out games has stood out as problematic once again for the Oakland unit.

The Nuggets are the defending champions for a reason. Nikola Jokić as always continued his triple-double streak against the Warriors tonight, with 32 points, 16 assists, and 16 rebounds which helped the Nuggets win by 16 points. Despite Curry and the Thompsons’s 20-point performance, the Nuggets were all around the Chase Center, putting an end to the Warriors’ 3-game winning streak.

Notably, this is coming just a few days after Draymond Green shared that his team can contend for the title. Well, the Warriors were put to the test soon after and they have clearly failed. Also, the Warriors have never won a game against the Nuggets this season. The two teams have matched up thrice and there is a good chance they might meet in the postseason if the Warriors make it to the playoffs.
