However, the Las Vegas Aces ultimately prevailed on Sunday with a final score of 104-91. Despite the Wings’ strenuous attempts to reduce the gap, the Aces kept a commanding lead throughout the game.

The fourth quarter of the game, however, got a bit heated. With only three minutes left on the clock, the game took a dramatic turn when Teaira McCowan tackled Kelsey Plum with such force that it sent shockwaves throughout the arena. The situation unfolded when Satou Sabally passed the ball to McCowan, setting her close to the basket for a critical shot attempt.
However, Aja Wilson accidentally collided with McCowan as she attempted to block McCowan’s shot. When McCowan collided with Wilson and fell to the ground, Plum who was also trying to put up a defense against McCowan fell to the ground.
And it doesn’t end here.
In less than two minutes, Kelsey Plum, who was still clearly in pain from the earlier incident, was back in play and heading toward the basket. Unfortunately, McCowan tackled Plum once more, causing both players to tumble.
