His comments enraged the 3-time All-Star Gilbert Arenas. He highlighted that both of them let their performance do the talking and the 19-time All-Star emerged victorious. In the recent episode of Gil’s Arena, he responded, “You had 6 games to say this when it was in real-time”.

The former Golden State Warriors star indicated that Brooks intentionally distanced himself from the media during that period to save his image.
