Salley highlighted a remarkable aspect of Jordan’s career—being the only NBA athlete with his own impactful shoe and clothing line.

The partnership between Nike and Jordan resulted in the creation of Air Jordan, which has since become a legendary brand. Salley says “No one ever thought you could do this with athletes. Everything that happens with the athletes now is designed after Michael Jordan”. When questioned about whether Lionel Messi holds the title of the most famous person on the planet, John Salley expressed a contrary opinion. According to Salley, he believes that Michael Jordan has had a greater impact and influence. Salley adds,” Michael Jordan has a sneaker that you wear. That’s how crazy it is”.
