Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and greatness go hand in hand. He is widely regarded for changing the way the game is played and he has established himself as one of the greats. Needless to say, he is the highest earner in the league.

Curry has a massive net worth in addition to his huge salary with the Warriors. However, he has had to work his way to the top as his initial salaries were quite low.

After Curry’s first MVP season in 2015-16, he earned around $11 million. Interestingly enough, during the same time, free agents like Khris Middleton and Tristan Thompson who signed new contracts earned more than him.

The MVP surely deserved better! He continued to be one of the best players in the league and safe to say, he does earn a lot of money currently.

Furthermore, he earns an additional $30 million from endorsement deals. All these add up to his massive $160 million net worth. While Stephen Curry was relatively new in the league, he did not earn much. Curry earned about $3 million a year from salaries and endorsements.

He let his performances determine whether he deserves a massive salary or not as his performances kept getting better. Recently, Curry won the Finals MVP award for the 2021-22 season. He averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists as he led his team to a 4-2 win over the Boston Celtics.
