Even after attaining superstar status, James always kept his old friends and family closer to him. Moreover, King James took a stroll on memory lane, sharing a heartwarming picture on his Instagram story ahead of the Sunday night All-Star game.

James always has a special place in his heart for his second family, who shaped his life during his childhood. He struggled to attend his classes regularly until he fell into the safe hands of Frankie and Pam Walker after his fourth grade. Moreover, the Lakers superstar never fails to mention the Walker family whenever he talks about his childhood.

LeBron James recently took to his Instagram to share a picture with Frankie Walker Jr. from a 2014 post on his story. Frankie Walker Sr. originally uploaded the picture in 2014 with the caption, “Get this big bearded guy away from me!!! Hahaha @kingjames why u keep scarin my son man.” The image feature James holding on to young Walker on his lap.

King James reshared the image on his story with a hilarious caption. The caption read, “Come Here Nephew Let Me Give You a Weddgie!!”

The Walker family joined James in his celebration after achieving the NBA scoring record. The Lakers’ star close friends and family joined the party night after the historic game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

NBA stars across both conferences are all set to participate in the much-awaited Sunday night game. James equals Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most All-Star appearances in NBA history. Moreover, 19x NBA All-Star captains the Western Conference and would face the Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo as the Eastern Conference caption. However, a lot of fans raised questions regarding James’ as he missed three consecutive games before the Pelicans game due to an ankle injury.
