“Draymond Green Was Right”: Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo-Less Win, NBA World Stomps on Jrue Holiday’s Bucks for “Shocking” Jimmy Butler Incident

The Deer District shivered in fear after watching their talisman, Giannis Antetokounmpo suffer a scary injury. Within just 10 minutes of Game 1, the Greek Freak‘s fall echoed around the arena. He didn’t enter the game again, nor did he check in tonight for Game 2. The Miami Heat unintentionally held the biggest advantage. But the Milwaukee Bucks attacked the Vice City in a manner no one saw coming. However, they also caught the wrong end of the stick as a Bucks star used dirty tactics that had fans compare him to Draymond Green.
Raining threes and staying aggressive all night, the Bucks evened the series at one game apiece. In fact, the Bucks tied the single-game postseason record for most made threes with 25. The Bucks didn’t give Miami a chance tonight.

Without one of the best players in basketball today, Milwaukee needed someone to step up. And much like in the regular season, Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday wore the capes. The duo combined for 49 points in the 138-122 win. However, they weren’t the only two guys who were on a mission.
“We gotta take care of him,” were the words Jae Crowder used when speaking of his former teammate, Jimmy Butler. His goal was to defend the ball and prevent Butler from getting into his widely feared playoff element. However, no one could foresee the means he would use to knock Butler off his game.

During a defensive possession, Crowder fell on the floor with the Heat star as his primary matchup. Butler had no contest and the ball was right under the basket. That’s when the former Heat forward decided to stop him using unconventional methods. The 32-year-old held the six-time All-Star’s leg in hopes to delay him enough till backup arrived.

His task was successful. Butler couldn’t jump as smoothly, but it did land him in trouble. Days after the Draymond Green controversy, the referees seem to have toughened up. They assessed Crowder with a Flagrant 1 for his foul play on Butler.
Fans blast Crowder, draw comparisons to Draymond Green
NBA Fans were livid watching Crowder’s dirty play on his former teammate. They ripped the Milwaukee Bucks forward to shreds for holding on to Butler’s leg. Not just that, but fans felt Draymond Green was the real victim in his clash with Domantas Sabonis a few days ago. A fan wrote, “He should’ve stomped him out”

On the other hand, some part of NBA Twitter felt the Warriors forward should look up to Butler as an example of how to act when held down. A fan tweet read, “Wait, you mean getting your leg grabbed doesn’t mean you have to stomp on another player?”
