Once they got behind, the Suns weren’t given any chance to exploit and stage a comeback. The Nuggets would keep piling the pressure, trying to get under the Suns’ skins. And they caught Kevin Durant in their trap.

With a 3-2 lead in the series, Denver is only a game away from eliminating the Suns from the playoffs. For Devin Booker and the Suns, they await a Game 6 at home where they will have to lay it all on the line.

Durant was at the gate, securing the team’s plans. Soon Nikola Jokic followed. They almost mockingly tried to listen in on the Suns’ plans as if being up by over 20 points wasn’t enough. This triggered The Slim Reaper. He pushed the two-time MVP. A little selling and argument later, the four-time scoring champion was assessed a technical foul.
