Recently, John Salley joined in on the conversation. The former Chicago Bulls star talked about West being ‘Mozart’ because he has influenced a lot of this generation.

Moreover, he also talked about West being a distraction. According to Salley, whenever something huge related to West goes down, everyone misses the bigger picture.

Salley said, “I’m the biggest Kanye fan. As soon as I see anything with Kanye that is huge and talked about everywhere, I step back. I look to my right and left, I look around, I know something’s about to happen. Every time they have used Kanye as an excuse or distraction, something went down that we were not paying attention to. “

Interestingly enough, Salley played one season with the Bulls alongside stars like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Jordan and West have a long-running rivalry that originated because of West’s lyrics.
