How Can Golden State Warriors Find a Way to Win Without Steph Curry & Draymond Green?
Follow Us
Golden State Warriors are barely hanging onto their playoff place in the Western Conference Table. They currently have a favorable 16-15 record but take Steph out of the equation, and it won’t make a very good reading for them.
The same was made abundantly clear in their loss to the Charlotte Hornets when the ace had to miss out. Hence, they are a one-man army or two rather, if you count the wisdom and leadership of Draymond Green.
But coach Steve Kerr needs to come up with ways to grind out wins in their absence as he may have to do in their next matchup against the New York Knicks. So, how can he do it?

Re-instate James Wiseman into the starting lineup
The #2 draft pick has been out injured since having sprained his left wrist in a dunk attempt against the Detroit Pistons on January 30th, 2021. But the good news for fans is that he is touted to make a comeback in the next game or the one after.
Now, Wiseman started his maiden NBA campaign impressively. But he began making rookie errors and was restricted to a bench role soon after. However, in Green’s absence, they need a rim protector considering they have little height in their lineup.

Giving Kent Bazemore a starting berth
He is the next best three-point shooter in this Warriors team after Steph Curry. Needless to say, they need someone to replicate that efficiency (Bazemore has 43.9% 3-point shooting efficiency) even though he can’t match the volume or the moving artillery skill-set of Steph.

Plus, they need Eric Paschall to come big off the bench as he has been doing all season for them. Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. will need to take the charge and lead from the front.
