With only a few games left until the NBA playoffs, the teams are looking to up their performances in order to get a playoff spot. The same cannot be said about the Los Angeles Lakers. The team has struggled all season and is continuing to do so, which has put their playoff hopes in jeopardy. Moreover, the team played Anthony Davis and LeBron James against the Pelicans, which ended up in another loss.
Talking about the disappointing season, eminent analyst Shannon Sharpe has asked to cancel the other games left on the Lakers’ schedule.

According to him, “Just cancel the rest of the season for the Lakers. They refuse to play defense or stop turning the ball over…” With this statement, fans on Twitter gave their reactions with most fans siding with Sharpe.

The Los Angeles Lakers are having a horrific season. Despite having stars like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook in their ranks, the team has suffered all season. Currently, the Lakers are 11th in the Western Conference and are out of the play-in spot.
