Bayless wrote, “LeBron will make $200 million more than Brady … in 2 fewer seasons! That’s bc Brady took a winner’s discount to make his team better. So did Tim Duncan his last 4 yrs: 10 mil, 10 mil, 10 mil, 6 mil. Billionaire Bron: almost 50 mil in Yr 20 & 21! Lakers: no shot. Congrats, King.

The 4 time NBA champion recently signed a two-year extension with the Los Angeles Lakers. A few days ago, the player and the franchise agreed to a two-year extension worth around $97.1 million.

Interestingly enough, with this extension, LeBron becomes the highest earner in NBA history. He passes Kevin Durant as LeBron’s career earnings amount to around $532 million. The King sure knows how to make money!

On the other hand, Tom Brady is in his 23rd season in the NFL. The 45-year-old will earn around $75 million and he will officially be the highest earner in the NFL according to Forbes.

Another interesting reference made by Skip is the San Antonio Spurs legend, Tim Duncan. He earned just around 10 million in his last two seasons before retiring after the 2016-17 season.

How was LeBron James last season?

Although many might criticize LeBron for earning an unbelievable amount of money, his performances for his team make up for it. LeBron was the only hope for a lackluster Los Angeles Lakers team last season.
