After a tremendous amount of hype, the Warner Brothers production house finally released the trailer of the LeBron James starrer Space Jam: A New Legacy.
The new Space Jam movie comes after 25 years of the initial release of Space Jam featuring NBA legend Michael Jordan. Given how LeBron James has often been compared to Michael Jordan throughout his career, it is only fitting that the 36-year-old returns for the second installment of the movie.

The trailer certainly looks like a treat to the eyes. Featuring James, Don Cheadle, and Cedric Joe, the story revolves around LBJ and the Toon squad going up against the Cheadle’s Goon squad.
The trailer certainly looks extremely promising, with many fan favorites returning. What looks more exciting is the plethora of shocking appearances that are in the trailer.
From fan favorites in Kong, to Iron Giant, a glimpse into director Malcolm D. Lee’s latest project excites everyone.
LeBron James thanks fellow NBA & WNBA players for appearances in Space Jam
When MJ starrer Space Jam was released in 1996, it featured some of the biggest names of the NBA at the time. MJ had his own star lineup with the biggest players of the league featuring Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Muggsy Bogues, Patrick Ewing to name a few.
Continuing this trend, LBJ has gone a step further and included WNBA stars as well. This time the movie features names like Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Diana Taurasi, and Nneka Ogwumike.

James was certainly thankful for all the stars to make an appearance in the movie. A day after the trailer’s launch, LBJ took to Twitter and thanked his fellow stars.

Lillard, Thompson, Davis, Ogwumike, and Taurasi can be seen in the roles of members of the menacing goon squad in the movie.

Apart from these five superstars, there are speculations that the movie might feature some other NBA stars as well. The biggest rumored names are Chris Paul. Kyle Kuzma, Draymond Green, and most recently Kyrie Irving.
The trailer of the new Space Jam movie looks absolutely stunning. With the release a couple of months away, we cannot wait to see what’s in store for everyone.
