Iguodala said, “I knew it was awkward times when I got a text from Klay Thompson. Just a text, period. I’m like Klay is texting me, ‘hey, you playing golf anytime soon?’ I’m like, Klay wants to hang out. I’m like, he’s bored, then I checked the time of the day, I’m like, he’s not used to not working right now, at this time. That’s when it hit me like, it is different. So, it was like a slap on the face.”

Two-time MVP Stephen Curry was at his usual best against the Lakers. However, there was little to no help from the rest of his teammates. Klay Thompson, the other half of the famed Splash Brothers, faced the majority of the flak.

He shot just 34% from the field during the seven-game series. Moreover, he averaged 16.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in six games. Needless to say, Thompson was a shadow of his former self against the Lake Show.
