LeBron James has a message for Tom Brady
Following Brady’s loss, the narrative of his retirement was sprung upon the post-game discussions. Amid these discussions, James, an ardent fan of Brady, was asked during the post-game interview about what advice he would give the NFL legend.
The four-time NBA Champions’ advice was simple and while voicing his advice, he gave the world an insight into his mindset. He left Brady with a 3-word message and said, “Follow your heart.” While doing so, he encouraged Brady to go with his gut. Further, he added, “It gives me the inspiration to keep going at my age so will see what happens.”

Last year, the four-time NBA Finals MVP revealed that Tom Brady has been a huge motivating factor for him. This revelation came right after Brady announced his retirement, only to make a comeback.
He said, “Been kind of my motivation factor over the last few years. You know, seeing what he’s able to do with his age and always kinda been a leader of the team. Even at his age, people still gravitate toward him.” While Brady has helped LeBron, the hope among many is for Brady to pay heed to LeBron’s words.

James’ 48-point performance comes a day after making 35 points against the Philadelphia 76ers. With this back-to-back 30+ performance, LeBron is marching closer to a big milestone. He is inches away from breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record of most career points in the league – a record he held for 34 years.
James controlled the narrative of the game. But commendable contributions came from Russell Westbrook (24 points) and Kendrick Nunn (15 points). The Houston Rockets, who are last on the Western Conference table, saw their star Alperen Sengun bag 33 points while Jalen Green bagged 23 points. Despite this win, the Lakers’ future in the playoffs looks questionable.
