However, the same cannot be said for the Hall of Famers’ franchise, the Charlotte Hornets. Even the addition of budding star LaMelo Ball has barely turned the fortunes of the organization. Recently, a startling piece of news circulating online prompted the NBA world to slam the struggling franchise on the Internet.

Michael Jordan acquired the Charlotte Hornets/Bobcats back in 2010 for $180 million. Being the team owned by the NBA legend, fans had a certain level of expectations from them. However, the Hornets failed to live up to the expectations and became a huge disappointment for the fans. This is probably why NBA fans couldn’t care less when a recent report revealed that the Charlotte Hornets never play on Christmas Day.

This year’s Christmas matchup included fixtures like the Dallas Mavericks vs the Los Angeles Lakers, the Boston Celtics vs the Milwaukee Bucks, the Golden State Warriors vs the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Denver Nuggets vs the Phoenix Suns.

Amidst the NBA-Christmas spirits, it was pointed out by a recent report, that the Hornets never get to play on Christmas Day.
