One of the biggest disappointments this season alongside Russell Westbrook has been Anthony Davis. The eight-time All-Star has dealt with injuries all season that has kept him out of action for quite some time now. The Lakers have a tight schedule of 8 games remaining in the regular season and the fanbase hopes to see Davis soon.
However, having him for the month of April will be a miracle in itself. Being in his third season with the franchise, he has only played 37 games this year. He averages 23.1 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists this season. His performances and his susceptibility to injuries have put his future with the Lakers in jeopardy.
Talking about Davis’ future, eminent journalist Brian Windhorst stated, “I think it’ll be something that’s discussed.” Moreover, his injuries have frustrated the fans, which has left most of them asking for his trade.

AD is a top 5 player when healthy. And yes Ik he never has been fr these last couple of years but still no way…. get him with the right strength and conditioning program in the offseason

I would have traded him at trade deadline for Tatum another lesser player and a pick or 2 but whatever. Jeanie has to venture it because of his unavailability and issues. He is the only asset to get better in the summer.

If we are being very honest if the lakers were smart and want to focus on the future they would trade lebron or ad for draft picks and young player because if ad and bron fail to bring another championship the lakers about to be in the dark ages for a couple seasons
