“Obnoxious” LeBron James Fans Get Offended at Major Michael Jordan Claim: “Gotta Make Everything About This Fraud Huh?”

As the world enters a new year, it presented a great opportunity for Michael Jordan fans to mark this year as the ‘Year of Jordan”. Much like how NBA 2k23 released a special Michael Jordan edition to commemorate Jordan’s jersey number 23 to the year. However, it may have ended up hurting the sentiments of some LeBron James fans as they went to social media to defend their GOAT pick.
Michael Jordan made the number 23 so iconic that a number of players chose to wear that number and not just in basketball. Perhaps one of the most significant players to don that number has been LeBron James himself.

With the world entering 2023, Bleacher Report marked 2023 as “the Jordan year”. However, that seemingly did not sit well with LeBron James fans as they lashed out at Michael Jordan, calling him a fraud and undermining his various accomplishments.

Fans had plenty to say in the comments section of the tweet, with Jordan fans appreciating the post and ridiculing LeBron James fans, while in turn, James fans highlighted the all-time scoring record that the Los Angeles Lakers great is set to break this year.

The never-ending GOAT debate
The argument for who is the greatest player of all time is a debate that has been going on for ages. Many players have been a part of this debate like Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry.
But one common denominator in these debates is the player they are being compared to, ‘His Airness,’ Michael Jordan.

As for the matter of accolades, Jordan clearly has an advantage over LeBron James. The Chicago Bulls legend has six NBA championships under his belt whereas James only has four so far. Even in MVP awards, Jordan has a huge lead on James.
And in the matter of their skill and talent, both have had periods of their careers where they have truly dominated the sport.
