NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is never shy of speaking out on topics related to the basketball world and beyond. Whether he is on the sets of ‘Inside the NBA’ or on his podcast, Shaq never hesitates to give his opinions. His latest victim was Brooklyn Nets star, Kevin Durant.

A major debate is going on regarding the status of ‘superstars’ in the league. It seems Shaq does not count KD as a ‘superstar’ due to the latter’s antics.

Moreover, O’Neal used a reference from well-known actor Al Pacino’s film to bash KD. Shaq said, “Al Pacino said, you ain’t no gangster, you are a punk. I’ve been with made men. So, what I’m trying to say is, I don’t see Mike, I don’t see Kobe, I don’t see Dwade. If you ain’t doing what they did, don’t be looking for me to call you no superstar. That’s all I’m saying.

Interestingly enough, Shaquille O’Neal is a huge fan of the veteran actor. Tony Montana, an iconic character from the film Scarface, drives a royal 1963 Cadillac Eldorado. Guess who is the owner of the iconic car currently? It is none other than former Los Angeles Lakers star Shaquille O’Neal.
