Simone Biles and Michael Jordan are two of the most iconic sporting superstars to come out of the United States. While one dominated the NBA with the Chicago Bulls and represented the country at the highest level, the other brought an Olympic Gold Medal back home.

Interestingly enough, even before Simone completed the huge achievement of winning the Gold Medal, she was already being compared to Jordan. There is a special reason for this comparison. Biles usually sticks out her tongue while performing one of her jumps, which is quite similar to MJ.

Jordan and his dunks with his tongue sticking out are still iconic to date and a similar habit has brought in unreal comparisons for Biles.

Talking about the comparisons, Biles gave her thoughts about being compared to one of the greatest athletes of all time. She said, “It’s an amazing feeling because he’s one of the greatest of all time, not just in basketball. To be compared to him is just amazing and I still can’t believe it.”

Biles further added, “I used to think they called me the Michael Jordan because I stick my tongue out in gymnastics it kind of slips out.“
