Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors would like to rewind time and erase their start to the 2022-23 season. The Dubs are short of dubs as they have lost nine games to the start of the season. Bringing their overall record to 6-9. Now, the NBA season is 82-games long, but performances like the loss against Phoenix Suns can catch up in no time. A recent statistic on NBA teams makes their chances of a successful season even thinner.
One Reddit user revealed a previously unknown statistic to the NBA fandom. And that would suggest that the Warriors should give up hope for the rest of the season.

The Warriors’ current condition supports the argument alongside the different statistics that fans have brought into notice. A Reddit user posted recently about an unknown statistic. Any NBA team that has lost nine of their first 15 games has not won the NBA title for the season. The user also went on to mention that the only two teams winning the NBA Championship with sub .500 in their first 15 games were Tim Duncan’s San Antonio Spurs in 1999 and an age-old team in the Rochester Royals in 1951.

In the loss vs the Suns, Curry dropped 50 pts for the game while the rest of the starters managed only 52. If there was any sign of defying statistics, this was it.
