USA Men’s Basketball team have been one of the most dominant teams in the international stage. With many superstars like Kevin Durant, James Harden etc, representing the national team, US undoubtedly have one of the most stacked teams in the world.
Having won the Olympics for the last three times in a row, the US enter the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as the favorites yet again. But the path won’t be easy as some of the league’s biggest superstars in Luka Doncic and Rudy Gobert all will be representing resilient nations like Slovenia and France, respectively.

US Men’s Basketball schedule revealed
Aiming for their fourth straight Olympic gold medal, the Men’s basketball team finally have a confirmed schedule. For the upcoming tournament, the US will face off against countries France, Iran and Czech Republic in Group A matchups.
The national team should be vary of their competition, as some of these nations can pull off some massive upsets. NBA insider Keith Smith recently revealed the schedule of the group stage.

vs France – Sunday, 7/25 – 8:00 AM ET
vs Iran – Wednesday, 7/28 – 12:40 AM ET

The biggest challenge for the team, however, will be the health of stars like Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton. Playing either for the Suns or the Bucks, the three players are Finals bound.

Given how gruelling these playoffs have been, rest is necessary. But given the schedule, it seems unlikely for the three mentioned stars. The team will also be missing some of the biggest veterans.
LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden all have opted out for the Olympics. Given the immense experience and quality these stars bring to the table, they are a big miss.

But the roster does have some of the best young talents in the roster. Apart from Kevin Durant, Kevin Love and Draymond Green, the rest of the squad is making its debut in the Olympics. While this side has the quality, they will have to come off age if they want to win their fourth straight gold medal. Will the US Men’s basketball team win it’s fourth straight medal?
