When will Anthony Davis and LeBron James Return? Lakers’ Jared Dudley Gives Promising Update

The Los Angeles Lakers have been struck by the injury bug quite hard this season. After starting as the top seed in the Western Conference, the champions saw a major drop in form.
This has come as a result of a host of injuries. All of it started when big man Anthony Davis suffered a tendonosis injury. Given the numerous niggling ankle injuries he was suffering from, all of it finally took its toll on the 28-year-old.
Later, they were struck by the health and safety protocols due to which players like Dennis Schroder and Wesley Matthews missed time. And the biggest injury of them all was endured by talisman LeBron James, who suffered from a high ankle sprain.

Adding insult to injury was when veteran Jared Dudley suffered from an MCL tear. The Lakers will hope that all their stars are back in time and are ready for the tough post-season run.
Lakers’ veteran Jared Dudley gives promising update
As he recovers from an MCL injury, veteran Jared Dudley recently made an appearance on the LakeShow Podcast. There, the veteran forward gave some promising updates about the return of Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
“AD is coming along. He’s on the court and doing definitely his little his workouts, his calves. I’m in the weight room with him. He’s gonna be getting on the floor more this week, he’s gonna do about 30 minutes non-stop, he’s been given more play time shortly. And so give him a couple more weeks.”

According to the latest reports by New York Times‘ Marc Stein, the 6’10” forward might make his return after the five game road trip around the East. Davis’ return will be a big boost for the champions given how tough their schedule coming up is.
The Lakers might be looking in shambles right now, but they have addressed all their problem areas in the trade deadline and the off-season. With a front-court bolstered with the addition of Andre Drummond and complimentary players like KCP and Schroder getting back in form, the Lakers will be scary once their superstars are back.
