The newest billionaire in town is making big moves. Magic Johnson is a new arrival to the exclusive billionaire athletes club with his old friend, Michael Jordan. He’s cementing his new success by inspiring others. He’s caught up in his first season as an NFL team owner. But hectic schedules don’t dampen the megawatt-smiling NBA legend.

He’s made his first social media post since his big promotion. And it cements that he’s an uplifting presence in every room.

AAPEX hosted a multi-day conference for over 54,000 in Las Vegas on October 31, 2023. About 2000 of them had the opportunity to see Magic Johnson in person at his keynote address, “The Magic of Winning.” The Los Angeles Lakers legend commemorated the event with an Instagram post in his positive style.

He shared pictures of the 2000-people strong seminar at The Venetian Expo. The 6’9″ giant towered over the attendees but his personality was winning too, and it come through in his caption.

AAPEX announced Magic Johnson as their keynote speaker in May 2023. He’s accomplished so much between the press release and the seminar. In July 2023, he was officially one of the owners of the Washington Commanders.

He started the current NFL season as a first-time owner. And despite the highs and lows, he’s doing his part as the boss by keeping the team upbeat. Besides his front and center role with the Commanders, he’s got a new feather in his cap.

If only Johnson gave out spoilers from his keynote address on Instagram too. He’s clearly embodying the theme of “Magic of Winning.” 

The captain of the Lakers dynasty is one of the four athletes to reach billionaire status. Forbes officially confirmed that his $600 million net worth jumped to $1.2 billion before his Vegas eventOther than Michael Jordan, this club also boasts LeBron James and Tiger Woods.

His big net worth boost comes from savvy investments in sports like the Commanders, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks, and more. He’s also built a non-sports portfolio with Burger King, Starbucks, 24 Hour Fitness, and Equitrust.

Johnson will have to bring that winning lucky charm when he heads from Vegas to Massachusetts this weekend. The Commanders are up against the Patriots on Sunday and need to overturn their losing streak.
