Another day, another star joins the Taylor Swift bandwagon. While she’s sweeping the football world under her spell, her influence is now spreading across sports. Years after getting the nod from Kobe Bryant, his teammate Shaquille O’Neal hopes to get the Swiftie rub. The big man hopes to find a place next to the international icon on the sport’s biggest stage during the Super Bowl.

Speaking to TMZ, the Los Angeles Lakers legend revealed his plans for the game and what he has in mind for a perfect day. After picking the Kansas City Chiefs to come out on top, and his reason is simple – “my boy” Travis Kelce.

But he has some aims for the game as well. “I’m hoping I’m in the suite next to Taylor Swift.” Further, the 4x NBA Champion would even shout out the second-most Grammy Award-winning artist in the world. “Hey Taylor, love you.” 

Previously, Travis’ brother Jason Kelce became a national highlight due to his antics in the suite alongside his brother’s girlfriend. Perhaps, Shaq is looking to make some Sparks fly as well. Or maybe, fill that Blank Space. At least now, the pop sensation knows the trouble on hand.

After Charles Barkley‘s incendiary rant about the coverage around the pop icon, it seems like the TNT crew is firmly behind Taylor Swift.

Due to her burgeoning Love Story with the aforementioned Kelce brother, the singer has been a hot topic of discussion, with the biggest source of gripe being the number of times the broadcast switches to her. Despite boasting an average time of less than 30 seconds during the three-and-a-half-hour match, it continues to remain a point of emphasis for fans. Moreover, it has also led to some outlandish conspiracy theories. Barkley, however, is having none of it.

The Philadelphia 76ers legend made his stance on the matter perfectly clear. To him, the entire discussion is “stupid.” Moreover, he finds the idea that people would follow a celebrity’s choice for presidential candidacy absurd.
