When some players get going, it’s almost impossible to stop them, and the Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is one of them. Tonight, he continued his purple patch, leading his team to a win over the mighty Philadelphia 76ers.
He scored a mammoth 49 points, and this included another three-point barrage. The 76ers defense was completely clueless against him and were unable to stop him. Curry’s colleagues, both current and former NBA stars, were off their seats watching him go to work. Many of them took to Twitter to praise this wonderful performance from Chef Curry.
Hall of Famer Magic Johnson knew who his MVP choice was following this masterclass. Knicks star Julius Randle was watching the game from home and was in shock. His teammate Imanuel Quickley just had one emoji to describe the performance, and that was the goat emoji.

Stephen Curry demolishes the Philadelphia 76ers single-handedly
The Warriors have been extremely dependent on Curry this season. They were expecting Klay Thompson to help him out; however, a preseason injury damaged all hopes. But Curry didn’t lose heart and has not taken his foot off the gas even for a single game. Every time he steps on the court, he realizes how important he is to the Warriors and gives nothing short of his best.
Tonight was just another example of this. Facing the 76ers is a challenge because they are one of the best teams in the league and are led by MVP candidate Joel Embiid. Although 76ers didn’t have Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris tonight, the rest of the team was fit.
