Kim Mulkey announces the return of Angel Reese

LSU’s boss Kim Mulkey attended a press conference in Baton Rouge on Wednesday. Following this, she made the revelation about Angel Reese’s participation in their clash against Virginia Tech. Mulkey said, “It’s a boost having her back. She’s a tremendous player, one of the best in the country.” Kim Mulkey has been avoiding answering the question about Reese’s suspension citing it as a “coach’s decision and locker room issues.” On being asked again to elaborate on Reese’s absence from her squad, she refused to provide further details about her decision. In addition to this, Angel Reese also refused to comment about her missing time. She took to Twitter and posted “Please don’t believe everything you read.” in a post on Nov.19.

Reese has been missing from LSU’s locker room ever since she was benched in the second half of the Lady Tigers’ 109-79 win over Kent State. Further, she was not a part of the team against Southeastern Louisiana, Texas Southern, Niagara and Virginia.
