Angel Reeses showcased her versatility by scoring both inside and outside, finishing with an impressive double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Mikayla Williams, a freshman, provided a spark off the bench with her sharp shooting and relentless defense. She contributed 20 points and made several crucial steals that led to fast-break opportunities for LSU.

Reese finished with four assists and ten rebounds. LSU’s winning run reached 15 games as rookie Williams made 4 of 5 three-pointers in her first SEC away game. With a strong second quarter and efficient 3-point shooting, the Tigers led by 50 points at the half.

The freshman who turns head

Williams has averaged 22 points per game in her first four collegiate games, including a 42-point showing against Kent State. She has made 10 of her 14 3-point tries in her past two games. The rookie guard from Bossier City, Louisiana’s Parkway High School has put in a lot of work.
